Size of Building

Will it fit on the site. Remember you will always need a minimum of 2000 all round for access equipment

Height

Always remember eaves height is to the top of the steelwork, so at every portal frame the clear height will be restricted by the steelwork

Side Cladding

The choice is: .5th single skin metal, 60mm composite insulation panels, or for the agricultural building, fibre cement or spaced timber boarding

Roof Sheeting

The choice is: .7th single skin metal, 80mm composite insulation panels or fibre cement single skin

Walls

Are there any walls, it is not good practice to clad the building to the floor as sheets tend to rot. A small 450mm high wall would act as an alternative

Standard office walls generally are 2.4 high, or in the case of agricultural buildings, concrete wall panels.

Additional Information

Agricultural Buildings

Smallholders and farmers can put a range of Agricultural Buildings to full use on their land and these buildings can be used for a host of purposes. Additional storage facilities might be required for maize, wheat or corn, if a bounty crop is harvested in the year. Hay barns can be constructed and cattle yards can be erected if a herd is going to expand. Cost effective solutions can be found that can help farmers to erect essential structures without it costing them a fortune. A vast selection of kit buildings packs is now available to purchase and they can be delivered directly to site. All the plans and assembly instructions are included with the buildings and if a group of people get together they will soon have the structures in position. An array of cladding can be used to cover the buildings and make them watertight. Specific designs can be tailored for by the suppliers who provide the Agricultural Buildings in the first place. Send them plans for your proposed new building and they will give you a quote for the materials. Both smallholders and farmers can extend the size of their storage capabilities when kits are delivered that can be transformed into Agricultural Buildings.

Kit Buildings

Have you run out of storage facilities at your premises and are you looking at other ways that you can increase your current capacity? You might be thinking of erecting another structure on your land but the price of bricks and mortar is putting you off. Have you considered a kit building option instead as it could be the answer to your prayers? One massive advantage of the Kit Buildings is you can still have a sizeable structure for much less than the equivalent bricks and mortgage solution. You can order one of the Kit Buildings and have it delivered to your site ready for assembly. Get a group together and they can help you with the construction which should be a simple process. With each one of the Kit Buildings there is a full set of drawings so you`ll know exactly what you are doing. Amongst the useful information that is included with a kit building are details for planning permission, details for the foundations, the erection and cladding of the building. Certain safety items might have to be used during the erection process and this can include cherry pickers or telescopic handlers. You`ll soon have plenty of additional storage space if one of the Kit Buildings has been erected.

Steel Framed Buildings

It`s possible to build your very own workshop or storage area from materials that come in kit form. Businesses are using Steel Framed Buildings to house a host of materials. Farmers can put the buildings to good use on their land, as hay barns, cattle sheds or crop storage solutions. In fact, anyone who wants a sturdy building erecting for much less than it would cost them for bricks and mortar, should look into the Steel Framed Building concept a little further. If you already have plans drawn up from an architect you can submit them to the suppliers who deliver the steel framed kits to site. They`ll happily provide you with a quote for the materials and you should be pleasantly pleased by the price in general. All of the Steel Framed Buildings come ready to assemble and you`ll receive full instructions on how this should be done. It`s certainly advisable to hire specialist equipment during the installation process to make sure that all aspects of health and safety are covered. However you`ll still find that you can erect one of the buildings for a low cost sum. You can build a workshop, storage area or cattle shelter out of a structure that comes with a steel frame.
